Most artists have a website. I don’t have one yet, though I plan to make one, with pictures in high resolution. But for now, I prefer a blog. My aim is to show every week a new series of images of my art –that is, things that I make that have no other functionality than to be.
Besides for showing images, I want to use this blog to write some autobiographical notes about my art –tell something about who and what inspired me, about my technical choices and experiences, some information on past shows and hopefully future ones and maybe some thoughts about art and the art scene. We’ll see. I apologize for the fact that I will be writing in English only. For better or worse, it is the lingua franca of our times.

Hey my names Kirsty, I am an a-level student currently studying art. I have recently been searching for an artist whose work has inspired me, and I came across yours in particular. My topic is “Decay” and I have been looking at a range of artists, but mainly mixed media.
I have chosen you as my artist to e-mail and do an essay on; as I think your work is unique and has inspired me.

Before I can write and essay on your work, I need to find out some things about you and your work. I would really appreciate it, if you would answer the questions that follow and mail me back.

-How many years have you exhibited your work?
-What techniques do you do? And what surfaces do you work on?
(if you could list some materials that would be great)
    -What artists have inspired you?
-Do you earn a living from art? Or do you just do it in your spare time?

Thanks you for taking the time and reading my e-mail. And I hope to hear back from you soon.

    Many thanks, Kirsty.
